Anyway. Considering the typical scenario in American action movies which is one versus fifty, no powers only wits, this is still basically... fair.

One against fifty?! That's a pretty tame action movie!
Throw in a flaming transport and a broken bridge and we're getting there. ;-)

In all seriousness, how does this energy power compare to our tech or weapons?
Like, can they deflect a tank shell with it as a barrier or such?

The rules around this would take a long explanation.
But the short story is, fast moving physical weapons, such as bullets or a tank shell wouldn't be effective against a barrier of energy.

Each Line member's pattern even provides a personal protection against such things, even a fast moving fist.

Yeah, makes sense.
Those are objects flying at you at high speeds which I guess get vaporized.

So how about energy damage like explosions or shock waves?
Or lasers?
Or electricity?
Or...

Uh, you can fight it with something else than another Line member, right? :D

Oh certainly! There are several ways to harm or kill a Line member. I mean, in the end, they are just human beings infused with energy, with varying degrees of skill using that energy.

There are lots of laws, rules and protections in place on the planets that they inhabit, but yes they could be fought.

It would, of course, be harder to take down a whole Line facility.
Those are mostly underground and very well protected.

Are you waging a war on my poor Line members just because they want to come play on Earth? ;-)

Thanks.
I just wanted to know how does the power compare to conventional weapons and if the energy also has protective properties.
I am guessing they can also specialize in either attacking or defending or both. As they form teams and groups, this could very well be the case. Team roles.

That and how to protect my world when they attack my comic :/
High chance of it being completely obliterated :<

"my poor Line members"
Interesting choice of words there...

Thanks Stever!
Drawing that energy is fun.
I got to do more of it in the next few pages!

The way you do it looks like chalk pastels (this is me talking "art-y"... lol).

I just re-read this page, and it seems as though Division 14 are Line Members (MEN) whilst Khor-eth's team are made exclusively of ELITE Members. From what you have said earlier, this may not be -that- evenly matched, with the balance tending to the side of the ELITE...

Damn Sig! ;-)
You might be right.
You really are paying attention.
I have to find some way to blindside you with some part of this story. Challenge accepted… but not likely to be fulfilled!
:-o

And thanks about the chalk pastel thing. I haven't drawn in chalk pastels in ages. I looooove them, but they are so messy!
