And there's the man, Jhett.
All Line members wear Rhye-van collars.
The colour is the same as their pattern, because it basically contains a bit of their pattern that stays with them at all times.

Next update, tomorrow!

Their crime?

Excessive attire.

Did I not call this?!

I doubt there is going to be too much of a fight...
Unless those two half-naked dudes (where were they going?) can actually strike back.

If these two are not scouts then man, those guys are pretty casual :D

Hmm... Seems one does not have a collar.
The other one has the same pattern then? Blue collar.

Yeah, it's pretty difficult to go up against the Elite and their team, as we've seen before.

The half-naked guys were not going anywhere important.
Probably a smoke break or to sneak some blueberry moonshine.

And yes, the shirtless guy with the collar is (or was) a Line member.
The other one, with no collar, was never a Line member.
Good freakin' eye M'Jak. Didn't think anyone would notice that.

So what you're saying is their "pattern" isn't available to them at all times? Is Rhye-van a giant "pattern" deadening planet?
Rd Ashes 2nd Mar 2016, 9:11 PM edit delete reply
Rd Ashes
Their pattern IS technically available at all times.
Though Line members "fold" their pattern (let it fade) whenever they are not in Line facilities.
(Unless they have to use it outside of facilities, like Jhett and his men are doing here.)
Also when they're sleeping, or their guard is similarly let down, it fades.
It normally takes a bit to get their energy back up.

The collars act as mechanical enhancement and amplify their pattern and energy.

So no, Rhye-van isn't a giant pattern dampening planet… it's just dangerous and Line members need to be on guard at all times.

Man, youse guys! I don't know how everyone else picks this stuff up so much quicker than me. And then when I have it spelled out for me, I still have to re-read several times, and then go re-scrutinize the page to catch all that important stuff I missed. I wish I was insightful!

Actually, I don't expect people to pick up these little details.
If something is super important, I make sure to draw attention to it.
These people are just discovering little details and hints BEFORE I intend them to be discovered!

I think that's super awesome! I'm glad those details are there for others to pick out and spell out for me!

Hahahaha! Yeah, I'm the same way.
I mean, I didn't even realize that the eggettes are all female… despite their obvious physical attributes when I went back and reread it all.

Hahah thanks. I feel better now!

So I guess being under constant alert quickly drains your energy (in general) in which case collar amplifiers would make sense.

Like transmitting at a low frequency and using resonance for amplification.
